 "Note from Betty: This photo of the Virden Illinois Community Band is marked 1916 although the dates at the top of the photo indicate this may have been the band in existence from 1916-1921. A current resident of Virden purchased it at an estate sale and sent it to Betty. Neither the purchaser nor Betty know who the band members are.
