1953-2002

Diana Darlene Tippitt, 49, of Bluffs, died Saturday, Nov. 9, 2002, at North Kansas City Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.

She was born April 27, 1953, in Oceanside, Calif., the daughter of Donald and Gladys Prior Tippitt.

She is survived by her parents; her fiance, Michael Hart of Bluffs; two sons, Byron (wife, April) Marion and Troy Marion, both of Springfield; two daughters, Jacki Flaherty of Kincaid, and Jillian Marion of Springfield; four grandchildren; one brother, Daniel (wife, Dena) Tippitt of Dawson; one sister, Linda (husband, Patrick) Regan of Pawnee; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Bruce Tippitt.

Ms. tippitt was a homemaker and loved painting and crafts. She was a member of the Naples United Methodist Church and was very active in her community.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Mackey-Daws Funeral Home in Bluffs, with burial at Hillcrest Cemetery, near Bluffs. Visitation will be from 608 p.m. tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Bluffs Rescue Squad.
