DRENNAN, PAUL W., SR.

Paul Drennan, Sr. of Roodhouse dies

ROODHOUSE - Paul W. Drennan St., 78, of Roodhouse, died Thursday, Aug. 24, at North American Health Care Center in White Hall.

He was born Jan. 11, 1911, in Manchester, son of Theodore and Jesse Greenwalt Drennan.

He married Eleanor Allen of March 27, 1936, in Portsmouth, VA. She survives, along with a daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Carol Ann) Wood of Bonita, Calif., and a son, Paul Jr. of Roodhouse, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother.

Mr. Drennan, a World War II veteran, was retired from the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Roodhouse.

The body will be cremated with private services later. Mackey-Dawes Funeral Home in Roodhouse is in charge of arrangements.
