Glenn R. Arnold

Glenn R. Arnold, 86, of Loami died Saturday at his home.

He was born June 17, 1907, in White Hall, the son of Robert and Ruth Dugger Arnold. He married Helen Mae Curtis in October 1937; she died in 1987.

Mr. Arnold owned and operated Arnold Food Service from 1945 until his retirement in 1982. He was a member of Loami United Methodist Church.

Survivors: a daughter, Beverly Oberline of Springfield; a sister, Mabel Grimm of Rochester, N. Y. and several nieces and nephews.

Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday Loami United Methodist Church, the Rev. Ardis Howell officiating. Burial Manchester Cemetery.

McCullough Funeral Home in Loami in charge of arrangements.

Jacksonville

LOAMI - Glenn R. Arnold, 86, of Loami died Saturday evening, April 1, 1995, at his residence.

He was born June 17, 1907, in White Hall, son of Robert and Ruth Dugger Arnold. He married Helen Mae Curtis on Oct. 28, 1937, in Covington, Ind. She preceded him in death June 15, 1987.

He is survived by a daughter, Beverly Oberline of Springfield; a sister, Mabel Grimm of Rochester, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Hanner and Freda Stull.

Mr. Arnold owned and operated Arnold Food Service from 1945 until retirement in 1982. He was a member of the Loami United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Loami United Methodist Church. The remains will be taken to the church one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Manchester Cemetery in Manchester. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the McCullough Funeral Home in Loami. Memorials may be made tot he Loami United Methodist Church or Loami Rescue Squad.

Helen M. Arnold

Mrs. Helen M. Arnold, 68, of Loami died (June 15, 1987) at 10:01 a.m. Monday at St. John's Hospital North.

Mrs. Arnold was born June 22, 1918, in Scott County, the son (daughter) of James and Jessie Wrey (Yrea) Curtis. She married Glenn Arnold in 1937.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Lloyd Curtis.

Mrs. Arnold was a member of the Loami United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Glenn; one daughter, Beverly Oberline of Springfield; three brothers, Dale Curtis of Mattoon, Donald Curtis of Denham Springs, La., and Paul Curtis of Roselle; two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Meyer of Springfield and Mrs. Margaret Mitchell of White Hall; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Loami United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Elmer Reimer officiating. Burial will be in Manchester Cemetery, Manchester.

McCullough Funeral Home, Loami, is in charge of arrangements.

Helen M. Arnold, 68, of Loami dies

LOAMI - Helen M. Arnold, 68, of Loami died 10:01 a.m. Monday, June 15, at St. John's North in Springfield.

She was born June 22, 1918, in Scott Co., daughter of the late James and Jessie Wrey (Yrea) Curtis. She married Glenn Arnold Oct. 28, 1937, in Covington, Ind. He survives with a daughter, Beverly Oberline of Springfield.

Also surviving are three brothers, Dale Curtis of Mattoon, Donald Curtis of Denham Springs, La.; and Paul Curtis of Roselle; two sisters, Lucy Meyer of Springfield and Margaret Mitchell of White Hall; and several nieces and nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd.

Mrs. Arnold was a member of Loami United Methodist Church.

Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Loami United Methodist Church with visitation prior to services from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Interment will be in the Manchester Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Loami Emergency Squad. McCullough Funeral Home in Loami is in charge of arrangements.
