ROEGGE, GEORGE

George Roegge residing three and a half miles north of Bluffs, died at Passavant Hospital, at Jacksonville, at 7:30 o'clock Tuesday evening.

Deceased was born in Morgan county July 9, 1878. He was united in marriage to Amanda Helmcamp, who survives together with two daughters, Helen and Hilda Roegge. He also leaves two brothers and one sister, Fred Roegge of Wisconsin, Henry J. of Arenzville, and Mrs. Mary Welenkamp, of Beardstown.

Mr. Roegge was a member of the Lutheran church at Neeleyville and was a man highly regarded in the community in which he had spent his life.

Funeral services will be conducted from the family home on Saturday at 11 o'clock a.m., and at the Neeleyville Lutheran church at 12:30, Rev. Deterding officiating. Interment in the Neeleyville cemetery.
