MEIER, HENRY H.

Henry H. Meier, a long-time resident at Bluffs, died at 9 o'clock Sunday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ruth Runyon, 466 South Mauvaisterre street.

Mr. Meier was born in Morgan county Jan. 18, 1866. He was preceded in death by his wife.

The following children survives: Miss Louise Meier, Alhambra Calif., Mrs. Runyon of Jacksonville, George W. Meier of Lyman, Nebr., Russell Meier of Bluffs and Alfred Meier of Springfield. One daughter preceded Mr. Meier in death.

A brother, Dr. W. H. D. Meier of Trenton, N. J. and two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Considine of Alhambra, Calif. and Mrs. Anna Eccoff of Portland, Ore. also survive. Two sisters preceded Mr. Meier in death. There are several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The deceased was a lifetime member of the Neeleyville Lutheran Church.

The body was taken to the Gillham funeral home where the family will meet friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Neeleyville Lutheran church with Rev. John Detering in charge. Burial will be made in the Neeleyville cemetery.
