MANCHESTER

Margaret Dean Renner, 86, of Manchester, died early Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, at Passavant Hospital in Jacksonville.

She was born Jan. 12, 1922, in White Hall, the daughter of Ivan and Nina Walker Myer. She married Robert Wayne Renner in Bowling Green, Mo., in 1939, and he preceded her in death March 7, 1971.

She is survived by one daughter, Sue Fahland, of Whittier, Calif.; three sons, Robert C. (wife, Chris) of Winchester, Ronald W. (wife, Wanda) of Granite City, and Rodger D. (wife, Peggie) of Manchester; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three sisters, Betty (husband, Merle) Lomelino of Manchester, Ruth Seymour of Alton and Nancy (husband, Bill) Premo Hughes of Brighton; and one brother, Bill (wife, Rita) Myer of Brighton. She was preceded in death by one son, Paul Dean; one granddaughter, Peggy Sue; two sisters, Mamie Nichols and Josephine Hobson; and one brother in infancy.

Mrs. Renne was a member of the Manchester Baptist Church. She enjoyed roses, quilting and shopping.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Manchester Baptist Church in Manchester, with burial at Manchester City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Mackey Daws Funera Home in Roodhouse. Memorials are suggested to Manchester Baptist Church. Condolences may be left at mackeydaws.com.
