Bluffs-Wilhamina "Minnie" Vannier, 95, of Bluffs, formerly of Decatur, died the morning of Wednesday, Jan 30, at Illini Community Hospital in Pittsfield.
She was born May 7, 1889, in Bluffs, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schuessler. She married Herman Vannier, and her preceded her in death along with a son, a daughter, three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by four sons, J.E. of Decatur, Robert of Centralia, Harold of Wentzville, Mo, and Dean of Anaheim, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Vera) Tohill of Decatur; 29 grandchildren; 70 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Bluffs.
Services will be 1:30 p.m., Saturday at the Coonrod Funeral Home in Bluffs. Friends may call after 3 p.m., Friday with the family to greet friends from 6-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, near Bluffs.
