Nancy E. Likes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Austin was born Jan. 20, 1871, and passed away July 12, 6:30 p.m., at her home in Bluffs, at the age of 65 years, five months and 23 days. She leaves one son, Everett Likes, of Griggsville and nine grand children, Eleanor, Mildred and Harold Likes, Delfa Pine, Arthur, Henry, Grace Marie and Dan Likes.

Her husband, James E. Likes, one son Ray E., and daughter Delfa Pine, and granddaughter Ola Likes, preceded her in death several years ago.

Funeral services were held at the M. E. church at Bluffs, Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock, with burial in the Fairview cemetery.
