GUS SIX

Gus Six, son of Josiah B. and Lydia Six, was born near Exeter, Ill., Feb. 10, 1874, and departed this life at the home of his sister, Mrs. Cecil Christison, July 1, 1930, aged 56 years, 4 months and 21 days.

His entire life was spent in Exeter and Oxville vicinities.

He leaves two sisters, Mrs. Maude Andres of Oxville, Mrs. Alma Little, of Naples, two brothers, Joe of Oxville and Will of Exeter, two half-brothers, Henry and Fred of Exeter, and step-mother, also of Exeter.

Funeral services were held at the Oxville church Thursday, July 3, 1930, Elder Homer Evans officiating, and interment in the Crisp cemetery.

The pallbearers were Russel Six, Gilbert McKinney, Wm. Campbell, Roy Christison, Gus Anders and Golden Atkinson.

The flowers were cared for by Miss Freda Owens, Mrs. Helen Owens and Mrs. Russell Six.

Mr. Six was well known in Bluffs, having many relatives and friends here.
