VICTOR E. GEORG. - Victor E. Georg, a photographer of Springfield, was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, November 4, 1858, a son of Henry and Susan (Reinhardt) Georg, natives of Germany. He attended the public schools, a business college and Gugler's Art School of Milwaukee, and subsequently studied in the Academy of Design at Peoria, Illinois. Since fifteen years of age he has been connected with photography and studied under W. H. Sherman. He conducted a photographic studio in Springfield; in Chicago; in Evanston, Illinois; and then returned to Springfield, where he is now engaged in business, meeting with excellent success.
