   Amanda (Hall) Alexander (1848-1920), Sara Margaret (Hall) Mitts (1838-1926), and Eliza Jane (Hall) Cline (1849-1934). The 2nd, 3rd and 6th of 13 children born to James Wesley and Catherine Claypool Hall. Amanda and Sara lived in Sangamon County after leaving Athens. Eliza Jane spent her almost 94 years in the Athens area as the "last survivor of the original pioneer families" who founded the town. Submitted by Barbara Shannon Cox |
