   Floyd Goodpasture is the teacher in the above photograph. Bertha Mason, his future wife, is standing in the back row, middle section. Floyd taught seven terms at Jersey College. Jersey College School was located a few miles west of Arcadia Cemetery. Taking the Arcadia black top west from the cemetery, you turn off on the first gravel road to your left, just before the Ralph Ginder farm. This is a small connecting road through the area that comes out on the road going to Jacksonville (Poor Farm Rd.) near what used to be the Harry Braner farm (Cracker's Bend) area going south near Old Grace Chapel church. On that short connecting road is where Jersey College stood.
