STEVENSON-BOSTON KIN GATHERS AGAIN

The descendants of Robert Stevenson, born 1720 and John Boston, born 1782, met for their annual reunion Aug 7 at MacMurray cabin. There were 59 present.

After the picnic dinner the meeting was called to order by the president Howard Stevenson.

At the business meeting the following new officers were elected: President, Edward Moy; vice president, Frank Ogle; secretary-treasurer Eloise Ross; assistant secretary and treasurer Mrs. William E. Boston, Jr.; historian, Mrs Florence Keune, assistant historian, Mrs. Marie Ranson.

A poem was read in memorium by Mrs. Keune, followed by a moment of silent prayer in memory of departed members.

The invitation to make a few remarks was given to guests from a distance. Responding were Charles Stevenson, Kansas City, Mrs. Katherine Stevenson Read, Olathe, Kan.; and Frank Ogle.

A review on "Pisgah and her People" was given. Miss Ann Stevenson had a very interesting paper, "Do You Know" news at honors and activities of many members of the families.

Slides were shown of Kentucky Visiting and taking pictures made the reunion a happy occasion.

The eldest lady pressent was Mrs. Katherine Stevenson Read of Olathe, Kan., age 82; The oldest man was Harry Boston of Carrolton age 85; the youngest was Rockne El Ballard of Roodhouse, age 3 months.

There were three marriages; Miss Jean Patterson to Don Gilchrist; Miss Beverly Cassen to Clarke
