Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cooper and house guests, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Cooper of South Pasadena, California, and Miss Lois Cooper of Fullerton, California, Mr. and Mrs. George Cooper, Mrs. Ida Clark, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Johnson and son, Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Chapman and Mrs. Frances Curtis were among the guests at a picnic supper at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Curtis and family at Alsey Saturday evening in honor of the California guests.

The annual Curtis and Cooper reunion was held Sunday at Nichols Park with around forty in attendance. A bountiful dinner was enjoyed at the noon hour. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Otis Cooper, Fullerton, Calif.; Mrs. Carrie Henderson and family, Mary Ella, David, Lois, Max and Margery, Greenfield; Walter Scott, daughter and son Irene and Roy , Winchester; Mr. and Mrs. James Beavers and daughter Shirley Ann, Literberry; Patricia Dickinson, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Curtis and sons Ralph and Milo and daughter Martha Jean, Alsey; Mrs. Jessie Curtis and sons Lloyd, Dale, Donald and Paul of Waverly; Mr. Robert Cooper, Mr. and Mrs. George Cooper and sons Dean and Neal; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Cooper, son and daughter Weldon and Jean Evelyn; Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Johnson, son Gary; Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Cooper, Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Chapman and Mrs. Frances Curtis. In the afternoon a short business session was conducted by the president Roy Scott and the following officers chosen for the ensuing year: President, Mr. E. J. Cooper; vice-president, Miss Irene Scott, secretary and treasurer, Mrs. Geo. Cooper, reporter, Mrs. F. Curtis. A short program was then enjoyed. Next year the reunion will be held at Nichols Park on the last Sunday in August 1941.
