SADLER, OTIS

Otis Sadler, of Waverly, died Saturday, April 16 at 4:00 a.m., at Passavant hospital, Jacksonville, where he had been a patient since April 1st. He was 58 years of age at the time of his death.

Deceased was born in Lewis County, Tenn., January 3, 1892, a son of William R. and Sarah Gobel Sadler.

He was married November 16, 1913 to Pauline Mawson, of Jacksonville, who survives him, together with the following children: William L., of Lake Geneva, Wis., Paul of New Berlin, Eugene of Waverly and Mrs. Helen Hale, also of Waverly. There are 13 grandchildren.

Other survivors are two brothers, E. C. Sadler of Nashville, Tenn., and J.R. Sadler of Lovington, N.M., and one sister, Mrs. Edith Massie, of Lawrenceburg, Tenn.

While still living in Tennessee, Mr. Sadler united with the Methodist church.

Funeral services were held at the Neece Funeral Home MOnday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, Rev. Howard Fisher, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating.

During the service organ selections were played by Mrs. Lilla Duewer.

The pall bearers were Harold Spaulding, Fred Massie, Homer Massie of Jacksonville, Albert Smith of Alexander, Warren Daniels of Literberry and George Ritter of Waverly.

Those caring for the flowers were Mrs. Harold Spaulding, Mrs. D.C. Ransdell of Jacksonville, Mrs. Warren Daniels of Literberry, Mrs. Russell Points, Mrs. Wilbur Edwards and Mrs. James Sanders of Waverly.

Burial was in East Cemetery.
