The original listing I have for Ransdell Cemetery had this to say: The bodies were not removed from this cemetery, but there is no longer any physical evidence of this cemetery, which was along the north edge of the northeast quarter of Section 32 in township 14N, Range 9W. The site is between Woodson and Franklin. The tombstones were removed prior to 1972. The following three people are among those known to be buried in this location.

The above information is not correct. When I visited the site of this cemetery or burial ground on May 27, 2001, there were two stones clearly visible amongst the weeds at the edge of a field. When I investigated, I found one to be a headstone and the other a footstone, but a few minutes searching located a second headstone lying in the weeds. There may well have been a third stone, or even several more stones which were impossible to see in the tall weeds and grass covering this site. Click on the name to see a picture of the headstone.
