Jamerson Cemetery

The word "cemetery" is misused in this case. This site is not and never was a cemetery. But a stillborn infant was buried on the premises at 544 Brooklyn Avenue in Jacksonville, according to the death certificate of the child. The father was also listed as the undertaker.

Note: According to the death certificate, both parents were natives of Morgan County. The father was 59 years of age, the mother was 43 years old. The infant was their sixth child.
