SPRINGFIELD - Linda Sue Patterson Traylor, 51, of Springfield died Thursday, Sept. 28, 2000, at her home.

She was born April 28, 1949, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Clyde and Helen Hadden Patterson.

Mrs. Traylor graduated from Jacksonville High School and was the public service administrator for the State Police in Springfield.

She belonged to the Methodist Church and was a volunteer at Springfield Memorial Hospital and Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville.

Survivors: two stepdaughters, Robin (husband, Steve) Bradford of Springfield and Stephanie (husband, Mike) Snyders of Bloomington; five grandchildren; a brother, Charles Thomas Patterson of Sioux City, Iowa; a sister, Ellen (husband, Ray) Stocker of Arenzville; three nieces; and three nephews.

Private services will be held. Burial: Ebenezer Cemetery north of Jacksonville.

Cody and Son Memorial Home in Jacksonville is in charge of arrangements.
