Albert Beemer Dies Tuesday At Our Saviour's

Albert Louis Beemer, 54, of 810 Doolin, died at Our Saviour's Hospital at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Mr. Beemer was born in Bond county, December 5, 1901, son of Charles L. and Lucy Palmer Beemer. He was married to Lora Vaughn September 5, 1924, who survives, along with the following children: James H. Beemer, of Peoria, Donald and Kathryn at home, and Mrs. Mary Biggs of this city; two brothers, Luther Beemer of this city and Harry Beemer of Beardstown; three half sisters, Mrs. N. M. Hart of Port Arthur, Tex., Mrs. B. E. Wise of Greenville, Ill., and Mrs. Pearl Watkins also of Greenville and five grandchildren.

The deceased was a maintenance man at Illinois Steel Bridge Company and at MacMurray College and was a veteran of World War One.

Services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Williamson Funeral Home with the Rev. Henry Spencer officiating. Burial will be made in Ebenezer cemetery. The family will meet friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 Wednesday.

JACKSONVILLE - Luther I. Beemer, 83, died Wednesday at Crmi Township Hospital in Carmi.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Williamson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, Mary, four daughters; Mrs. Lillian Thompson and Mrs. Allene Brackeen, both of San Francisco, Calif.; Mrs. Florence (Kaj) Bentzen, San Bruno, Calif.; and Mrs. Mardell (Remel) Fair of Carmi; four sons, Clyde of East Peoria; Verlon of Riverview, Florida; Albert of Alton; and Edward of St. Louis, Mo.; 27 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

VERSAILLES - Clyde E. Beemer, 70, of Versailles, formerly of Jacksonville, died Saturday at his residence.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Williamson Funeral Home, Jacksonville. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery.

Surviving are three sons, Gerald J. of St. Peters, Mo., Reginald of Peoria and Roger of Chester; one daughter, Mrs. Jerry (Jeanne) Waters of Jacksonville; three brothers, Verlon of Tampa, Fla.; Albert of Alton and Edward of Memphis, Tenn.; three sisters, Mrs. Lillian Thompson of San Francisco, Calif., Mrs. Florence Bentzen of San Bruno, Calif., and Mrs. Mardell Fair of Carmi; and three grandchildren.
