Mrs. Rose Oliver, 90, dies here Sunday; rites Wednesday

Mrs. Rose Oliver, 90, of Jacksonville route one, died Sunday at Skyview Manor Nursing Home.

She was born in Jacksonville June 2, 1887, daughter of Edward and Mary Fernandes Smith. She married Benjamin A. Oliver in Jacksonville in April of 1914 and he died in 1962.

Surviving are these children: Mrs. Elvin (Marie) Hisle and John Oliver, both of Jacksonville, and Mrs. Arthur (Lucille) McHenry, Mechanicsburg. There are nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

A brother and a sister survive: Russell Smith and Elsie Bieber, both of the city.

The deceased was a member of Northminster Presbyterian church, to which memorials are suggested.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Cody and Son Memorial Home with Rev. Leslie Thurston officiating. Interment will be in Jacksonville East cemetery.
