KELLEY

John G. Kelley, aged 80 years, peacefully passed away Wednesday evening at 11 o�clock at his home, 833 East Independence Avenue. Death was the result of diseases incident to old age.

Deceased was born in Concord, N.H., where he made his home for a great many years. He came to Illinois in 1865 and since that time had made this state his home, residing in Jacksonville for the past fourteen years. He was a soldier in the Mexican war and served his country bravely and well. He is survived by a wife and eleven children.

The funeral will be conducted from the family residence Saturday at 2 o�clock followed by interment in Jacksonville cemetery.
