1931-2001

JACKSONVILLE

Harold W. Herrin, 70, of Jacksonville, died Thursday morning, Sept. 20, 2001, at Passavant Area Hospital.

He was born July 11, 1931, in Jacksonville, the son of Clarence Alford and Alice Lorene Menezes Herrin.

He is survived by two sisters, Wanda C. Gimbel of Jacksonville and Vicky L. Bryant of Bradenton Beach, Fla. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Floyd Edmond and Terry Lee; and two sisters Sandra Kay Herrin and Eunice J. Miley.

Mr. Herrin had worked at Illinois College. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Faith Tabernacle Church.

Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Jacksonville East Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to Faith Tabernacle Church. Williamson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
