GOVEIA, ANNA (CORREA)

Died at her home on North Caldwell Street, Tuesday morning at 11:15 a.m., Mrs. Anna Goveia, wife of Emmanuel Goveia, aged 70 years. Mrs. Goveia was widely known as a Christian woman and a doer of good. She had for years been a Christian and was a valuable member of the United Portuguese Church. All of her twelve children are living save one, a boy who died in infancy. Two of her sons, John of Independence, Kan., and S.E. of Milwaukee, arrived in the city Monday night. The other children are Mrs. Joseph Smith of Virginia, Mrs. Lizzie King, Mrs. Sophia Oliver, Mrs. Anna Baptist, Mrs. Dora Estaque, Miss Mollie Goveia, Joseph and Frank A., all of this city and George, residing north of Jacksonville. The Services will be conducted from the United Portuguese church Thursday at 2:00 o'clock.

The funeral of Mrs. Anna Goveia will be held this afternoon. A short service will be held at 1 o'clock at the residence of Caldwell Street and the services at the United Portuguese Church will be at 1:30 o'clock.
