Mrs. Margaret Decker, wife of James Decker, passed away at 8:30 o'clock this morning at the family home, 818 East Independence Avenue. She was a lifetime resident of this county.

Mrs. Decker was born in this county March 25, 1850, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Liles. When a young woman she was united in marriage with Mr. Decker. The husband survives, together with three daughters and four sons: Mrs. Mabel Hayes, Jacksonville; Mrs. Abbie Crowder, Lynnville; Mrs. William Collins, Charles, Lyman, and Bert Decker, Jacksonville; and Martin Decker, Ashland. There are two sisters, Mrs. Sallie Moss, Prentice and Mrs. Jesse Laughary, Arenzville.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 o'clock Friday morning at the Gillham Funeral Home, with interment in Jacksonville cemetery.
