George Daniels,
Passes Away Here

George W. Daniels, 84, of 812 1/2 Hackett avenue, pssed away at 5:45 a.m. Saturday at Passavant hospital where he had been a patient since November 28.

Born in Cass county, May 7, 1878, he was married to Mary Ann Greenwood, who preceded him in death, May 14, 1946.

Surviving children include three sons, Albert, Jack and James, all of Jacksonville; two daughters, Mrs. Grover Turner, Jacksonville, and Mrs. Marion Graves, Jacksonville; two half-brothers, Verr, Chicago, and Oscar, Pekin, eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

One son, Roy, and two brothers, Tom and Bud, preceded him in death.

He was a member of the Literberry Christian church.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday from the Williamson Funeral Home with Reverend William J. Boston officiating. Burial will be in Jacksonville East Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
