Dunlap, James William
James Wm. Dunlap was the son of John R. & Martha Swearinguin Dunlap and
was born on 25 Nov 1860 in Athens, Menard Co., IL. He died 14 Oct 1932 in Big Timber,
Sweetgrass Co., MT. The date of birth for James was taken from the Pension Application
for his father, John R. Dunlap. James died of cancer of the face in the home of his
sister Nellie Overstreet Rhoades in Big Timber. The date of birth on
his Death Certificate was given as November 25, 1858 by Mrs. Wm. (Nellie) Rhoades. The
certificate stated that he was widowed but I have yet to find a marriage for him. He is
buried in Big Timber, MT.
