RICHARDSON, EDNA MAE YOAKUM

ATHENS - Mrs. Edna Mae Yoakum Richardson, 83, of Palmyra, formerly of Athens, died at 3:05 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 1 at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield.

She was born on March 17, 1900 at Kilbourne, the daughter of John and Maude Turner Forden.

Surviving are four daughters, Winifred Porter and Dorothy Hamilton, both of Athens, Bernice Ward of Lorraine and Annabell Smith of Palmyra; one son, Jasper Yoakum of Deer Creek; two stepsons, Jack and Don Richardson of Fairbury; one sister, Mabel Pulliam of Quincy; one brother, Bill Forden; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 3 at Mott and Henning Funeral Home, Athens. Burial was in West Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Foundation.
