MARY SCOTT FRACKELTON

Died at her home in Petersburg, April 28th, 1878, at 6 A.M., MARY SCOTT wife of James W. Frackelton. Born near Moira, County Down, Ireland, April _, 1819, and was the eldest daughter of Ralph and Jane Bullick. She was married June 15th, 1842, and came to this country and settled at Petersburg, in the fall of 1848. In 1849 she united with the Presbyterian Church of this place, of which she has ever been a consistent member. God gave her four children to train for him. One passed away in childhood; three remain, two sons and one daughter. She led them in early life to that same Saviour in whom she herself had trusted she leaves these children, and a loving and faithful Christian husband to mourn her loss. She was best known in the home circle, and there her loss will be most keenly felt. A faithful wife - a loving mother - an earnest Christian - a friend of God's poor, has passed from earth to heaven. Her life was a living Epistle on Christianity, known and read of all.
