Isaac Caswell, a life-long resident of this community, died at Springfield Hospital Monday evening, December 18, at the age of sixty-nine years, following a long illness. He had been a patient at the hospital for two months.
Mr. Caswell was born in this city and spent practically his entire life here. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Winner of Tallula, a son, Sam Caswell of Petersburg and three grandchildren. Mrs. Caswell preceded him in death on October 1, 1929.
Funeral services were held at the Satorius Chapel at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon, December 20, conducted by Rev. George Eades of Tallula, and burial was in the Hash cemetery, west of this city.
