Betty Lee McAfee Schall 58, of Dawson died at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Hospital North.

She was born in Chapin on Aug. 8, 1930, the daughter of Henry J. and Georgia M. Rigor Schall. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel L. McAfee, in 1976. Surviving are two sons, Kenneth G. Wise of Springfield and Jerry D. Wise of Springfield, Mass.; one daughter, Jeanne M. Walters of Rushville; five grandchildren; two sisters, Velma Miller of Beardstown and Marion Davison of Springfield; and one brother, Hank Schall of St. Petersburg, Fla.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Mott and Henning Funeral Home, Athens, with the Rev. Herbert Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Hall Cemetery in Athens.
