This cemetery was identified by Eileen Gochanour from an old family genealogy
in her possession on the Williams Family. It states "he was first buried on the
Williams Farm, but later moved to Indian Point Cemetery. His farm was located about
1/2 mile west of the North Sangamon Presbyterian Church. James Williams was
the husband of Hannah Mappin who was born 21 July 1776 and died 30 Oct 1855."
