Directions: Follow Rte. 97 north through Petersburg to North Petersburg Road
which is by the sign that directs you to the Menard County Fairgrounds. Turn right
on North Petersburg Road and go 4.7 miles to Altig Bridge Road. Turn right on
Altig Bridge Road and go 0.2 miles. The cemetery is on the right. It is located
in a grove of trees beside what was called the old Shipley School (it now appears to be
a home).
Stones were found here that were not in the 1981 transcription done by James Toal in 1981.
