Lucille Amberger

PETERSBURG - Lucille Amberger, died Friday, April 19, 2002, at her home.

She was born Feb. 9, 1914, in Sesser, the daughter of Miner and Della Bradley Atkins. She married Thomas P. Amberger in 1936 in Petersburg; he preceded her in death in 1996. A daughter, Joann Romang, also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Amberger was a retired beautician and a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Petersburg.

Survivors: two grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a brother, Don Atkins of Benton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. Monday, St. Peter Catholic Church in Petersburg, the Rev. Thomas Holinga. Burial: Calvary Cemetery in Petersburg.

Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg is in charge of arrangements.
