TURPIN, VILETA JUNE HUFF

JERSEYVILLE -- Vileta June Turpin, 71, died at 2:40 a.m. Friday, April 13, 2001, at Jersey Community Hospital in Jerseyville.

Born Sept. 24, 1929, at Kemper, she was a daughter of the late Warren and Elizabeth (Murray) Huff.

A homemaker, she was employed as a dietary aid at Jersey Community Hospital for 15 years, retiring in September of 1995 and was a member of Fidelity Pentacostal Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Debra Turpin of Jerseyville, and two sisters, Edith Moore of Rockbridge and Hazel Ingles of Bradenton, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Edna Shade and Helen Brooks; and a brother, Everett Huff.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Gubser Funeral Home in Jerseyville, where services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Michael Moore will officiate.

Burial will be at Jalappa Cemetery.
