COPE, STANLEY W.

HARTFORD - Stanley W. Cope, 63, died at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 1994, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Granite City.

The son of the late Truman Asa and Cecil Mary (Hoffnagle) Cope was born in Kane Nov. 11, 1930.

He was an automobile and truck mechanic at several area businesses.

Surviving are a son, Stanley J. Cope of Wood River; two daughters, Linda Vandercook and Donna Moore, both of Portland, Ore.; seven grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and two sisters, Stella H. Collins of Bunker Hill and Phyllis Williams of Cottage Hills.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Friday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.

Burial will be in Jalapa Cemetery in Kane.
