BENJAMIN ROODHOUSE, a native of Yorkshire, Eng., came to the "Land of the Free," in Dec., 1830, locating in White Hall township, Greene county, on section 14. He was married twice. He died Aug. 3, 1831. His wife survived him until 1860, rearing a large family.
