THOMAS P. BUTLER DIED SATURDAY

Thomas P. Butler, 84, died at 1:15 p.m. Saturday at his home 1 ¼ miles north of Pleasant Plains where he had resided 47 years. Death followed a long illness.

Mr. Butler is survived by his wife Kathryn; one son, Paul, at home, and several nieces and nephews in California and Oregon. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic church, Ashland.

Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Augustine church with Rev. Vincent Heraty officiating. Burial was in St. Augustine church cemetery.
