The stones from Old City Cemetery, Beardstown, were moved (not the burials, just the stones) to Beardstown
City Cemetery. The easiest way to find the stones is to enter Beardstown City Cemetery through the St. Alexius gate which is located
on the Arenzville Blacktop just off Rte. 125. Once inside the gate, the stones are on the left
side of the lane, just a short distance inside the cemetery. This group of stones is easy to spot.
According to the Cass County Genealogy Assn. the stones were moved to this location a number of years ago.
