Kane County Cemetery Surname Guide
Reprinted by popular demand, this work was designed to aid the genealogist in locating his family names on gravestones in the county cemeteries. In reality many researchers have used this book as a locating tool for finding the area when their ancestors settled when no township was previously known. Ninety-four Kane County cemeteries and seven additional sites in neighboring counties were walked during the years of 1978-80. The introduction of the book contains a Kane County map locating every cemetery and a brief description of each cemetery included in this work.
