MUNSON TOWNSHIP CEMETERY PRAIRIE

From the intersection Interstate 80 and IL 82 (South edge of Geneseo), go South on Rte 82 about 5.25 miles. Go West on a graded, gravel road 1400N 1 mile, then South 1 mile, then turn East, go approx .25 mile to cemetery entrance. There is a small parking space and a mowed path to walk through the cemetery that is on the North side of the road. There are signs directing you to the Cemetery. The Cemetery has been relative undisturbed in recent years. The dominant grasses are big bluestem, little bluestem and Indian grass along with such unusual forbs as yellow star grass, Hill's thistle, and one-flowered broomrape.
