Appare evidente che l’attuale consistenza
dell’Archivio parrocchiale dipende dalla perdita di gran parte dei
fondi più antichi, avvenuta probabilmente durante gli eventi naturali
che hanno interessato la chiesa, rendendola pericolante e inagibile in
diversi momenti della sua storia, come si è cercato di documentare.
Relativamente alla biblioteca parrocchiale sono state
rinvenute schede di prestito e di catalogazione dei libri, compilate
sommariamente, che lasciano pensare ad un tentativo di organizzazione di
un vero servizio di biblioteca, avvenuto probabilmente negli anni
Cinquanta. Nonostante la
dispersione dei fondi librari si possono ancora intuire i settori in cui
la biblioteca avrebbe voluto operare: narrativa italiana e straniera,
molti volumi delle collane per ragazzi delle edizioni San Paolo, libri
liturgici e di catechismo, ma anche storia, patristica, saggistica varia.
Qualche testo risulta donato alla biblioteca.
Parecchi volumi sono riconducibili, dalle note di possesso, alla
biblioteca personale del sacerdote Giuseppe Intrieri:
libri di teologia, morale, ma anche vecchi manuali scolastici,
eleganti libretti della Morcelliana, riviste in numeri sparsi.
Presente anche la stampa
dell’associazionismo cattolico, prima e dopo il 1945.
Qualche volume, degli anni Quaranta, reca il timbro Associazione
cattolica San Luigi Marano Marchesato; fondata dal parroco don Luigi
DeFilippis, attiva in tutta la diocesi, poco nota per la dispersione dei
documenti relativi

It appears obvious that the current consistency of the
parochial Archives depends on the loss of great part of deep the more

Relatively to the parochial library they have been
recovered cards of loan and catalogazione of the books, compiled highly
summarizedly, that they leave to think to an attempt of organization of

the dispersion of the deep librari the fields can be still intuire in
which the library it would have intentional to operate: novellistic
Italian and alien, many liturgici volumes of the necklaces for boys of
editions Saint Paul, books and of catechismo, but also history,
patristics, varied saggistica.
Some text turns out donated to the library. Several
volumes are riconducibili, from notes of possession, to the personal
library of the clergyman Giuseppe Intrieri: books of theology, moral,
but also old scholastic handbook, elegant booklets of the Morcelliana,
reviews in scattered numbers.
Present also the press of the catholic associazionismo,
before and after 1945. Some volume, of years Forty, brings the stamp
catholic Association Saint Luigi Marano Marchesato; founded from the
parish priest don Luigi DeFilippis, assets in all the diocese, little
famous for the dispersion of relative documents
