John Parker, Catlin, farmer, was born in Bourbon county, Kentucky, on the 19th of March, 1819, and removed to Marion county, Indiana, in 1836, where his parents were among the early-settlers. His father died in 1842. Mr. Parker came to Vermilion county in 1844, and settled at Brooks Point, where be remained eight years. He then removed to where he now resides. He was married on the 23d of November, 1821, to Hannah Clark, and they have eleven children: Drusilla, Sarah, Mary E., William D., John M., Ann E., James W., Oscar F., George W., Henry P., and Clinton W.
