Located near Mt. Auburn in Mosquito Township of Christian County in Illinois
This cemetery is currently cared for and active, but there is much evidence
of prior years of neglect. Many of the older stones lay broken and partially
buried on the ground, though some have been replaced in recent time.
Stafford cemetery is located three miles east and one-half mile north of Mt. Auburn. It is well cared for. It is no longer fenced. It is long and narrow with the graves scattered.
