Marie F. Woods 86 Oblong died Saturday February 10, 2001 at Crawford Memorial Hospital Robinson. Marie was born September 8, 1914 in Crawford County, Illinois. She was the daughter of Harlan & Leora Gertrude (Neeley) Hill.
On September 20, 1935 she married Mack T. Woods. He died July 29, 1996. Marie worked at L.S. Heath & Sons as a Taster, Hi-Way Cafe and Ridgeview Care Center in the Housekeeping Department.
She was a member of the First Christian Church Oblong . Her hobbies included her flower and vegetable garden. She loved to go shopping but usually didn't buy anything and her favorite card game was Skip-Bo.
Marie is survived by 4 Sons & Daughter-in-laws Mackie & Karen Woods, Donnie & Fuzzy Woods, Terry & Sylvia Woods and Alan & Sue Woods; 10 Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren; 1 Brother & Sister-in-law Jim & Pauline Hill; 2 Sisters & Brother-in-laws Velma Persinger and Pod & Buster Lorance; several Nieces & Nephews.
Marie is preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, 2 Brothers (Speck & Joe Hill) 5 Sisters Mary (her twin) Ellen, Dorothy, Clede and Maude.
Burial will be in Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, IL.
