Lola M. Rich, 76 of rural Robinson, IL died at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2005 at her home after a brief illness. She was born December 17, 1928 in Hutsonville, IL, the daughter of Virgil Bonesteel and Alice Ralston Bonesteel. She was the office manager at Schmidt Clinic in Robinson for over 20 years, retiring in 1986. She was a member of the Flat Rock Missionary Baptist Church and had played the piano at the church for many years.

Lola married Clay Rich on August 5, 1949 and he survives. She is also survived by her son Brian Rich, Robinson; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis and Mike McCammon, Palestine, Pam and Frank Phillippe, Flat Rock; 8 grandchildren, Laura Phillippe, Jeff Phillippe, Tamara Byrley, Angie Ferguson, Stacie Ogle, Lindsay Beabout, Elijah Rich, and Shane Rich; 8 great grandchildren; her mother, Alice Bonesteel, Robinson; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Mervin and Carolyn Bonesteel, Robinson, Larry and Kate Bonesteel, Greencastle, IN; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Virgil Bonesteel.

Funeral services are Monday, June 6th at 10:00 a.m. at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Pastor Dean West is in charge of services. Burial is in Jones Cemetery, rural Flat Rock. Visitation is from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 5th. Memorials may be made to the Flat Rock Missionary Baptist Church with envelopes at the funeral home.
