Bouchie Amanda (Adams) Reinbold, age 87, rural Palestine died Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at her residence in the United Methodist Village in Lawrenceville. Born August 27, 1920 in Martin Township, she was the daughter of John Quincy Adams and Gussie Bouchie (Clark) Adams.

She was a retired elementary school teacher. Mrs. Reinbold began her education at Mount Pleasant Grade School and Robinson High School. She attended Eastern Illinois University and later received Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Indiana State University. After teaching four years in rural schools in Crawford and Lawrence counties, she later taught in the Robinson school district for twenty-five years at New Hebron and Lincoln elementary schools.

On December 20, 1941, she married Lester Reinbold. They farmed south of Palestine. Lester preceded her in death on March 5, 1998. In her lifetime, she was a faithful member of Zion United Methodist, Green Hill United Methodist, and Flat Rock United Methodist churches. She was also a member of D. A. R., Crawford County Retired Teachers Association, Robinson Women's Club, and Home Extension Association.

Mrs. Reinbold is survived by a daughter, four sons and two daughters-in-law, Keturah Reinbold, Champaign, IL, Philip and Linda Reinbold, Kimberling City, Missouri, Mark Reinbold, Maple Grove, Minnesota, Stephen Reinbold, Lee's Summit, Missouri, and John and Laura Reinbold, Nashville, Tennessee; and by 6 grandchildren, Adam and Sarah Reinbold, Maple Grove, Minnesota, and Amanda, Emma, Hannah Ruth, and John Henry Reinbold, Nashville, Tennessee. She is also survived by a brother and three sisters-in-law, John Sidney and Leona Adams, Wanda Adams, and Sharon Adams Berry, all of Robinson. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents; and three brothers, Joseph William Adams, Grant C. Adams, and Daniel Quincy Adams; and several brothers and sisters-in-law.

The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 7, 2007 at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday and at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Burial will follow in the Richart Cemetery in Martin Township. Memorials may be made to the Flat Rock United Methodist Church or the United Methodist Village in Lawrenceville.
