Clyde T. Randolph 86 Oblong died Tuesday December 11, 2001 at his residence. He was born October 26, 1915 in Crawford County, Illinois. Clyde was the son of Roy Randolph and Elizabeth (Gramby) Randolph. On August 30, 1938 he married Etta Lorene Perrine. Clyde retired as a driller in 1976 from Marathon Oil Company. He also farmed for most of his life. Clyde was a veteran of WW II serving in the U.S. Army Air Corp. He was a member of Oblong American Legion Post #219 and Oblong Masonic Lodge AF & AM #644.
Surviving are is wife Lorene; son and daughter-in-law Marvin & Kathy Randolph; daughter and son-in-law Linda & Joe Smith; 3 grandchildren George & Elizabeth Smith, Kathleen Smith and Joe Jr. & Terri Smith; 6 great grandchildren Ethan Smith, Brandi Langley, Tasha Adams, Justin White, Ashley Smith and Krystle Bolen. Clyde was preceded in death by his parents; 1 son Kent Lee Randolph in 1973 and 1 daughter Beverly Ann Randolph who died at birth.
Burial is in Prairie Cemetery. Military rites at the cemetery will be conducted by Oblong American Legion Post #219.
