Betty Jane Randall, 80, of Decatur, IL, died at her home at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2003. She was born July 2, 1923 in Minonk, IL, the daughter of William Dewey Wells, Sr. and Fannie Sydnor Wells.

She was an Interior Decorator in Decatur and had worked for several furniture stores in that community. Her last employment was with Carter's Furniture in Decatur as a designer. She was also a long time member of the Decatur First Baptist Church.

She married Eugene Randall on October 23, 1942 and he survives. She is also survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Gina Randall, Peoria, AZ; 3 grandchildren, Melissa Joe Randall, Glendale, AX, Wesley Randall, Surprise, AZ, and Matthew Randall, Peoria, AZ, her brother William Dewey Wells, Jr. rural Palestine.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside funderal services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 6th at the Oak Grove Cemetery, rural Palestine. Paster Mike Waltenberger is in charge of services. The goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Decatur First Baptist Church.
