Joseph Pleasant died at this place [Trimble] last Thursday. Rev. Hathaway delivered a funeral discourse, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Oak Grove cemetery. He leaves a wife and three children and several brothers and sisters to mourn his death. He will be sadly missed as he always had a cheerful smile and a kind word for every one.
